Privacy Policy

• Account email address — if you create an account (email/password or Google Sign-In), we store your email to identify your account and let you sign in across devices.
• Drink logs — the amounts and times of drinks you log, and your settings (daily goal, unit preference, container sizes, reminder times), are synced to your account so your history is available on any device you sign into.
• Advertising ID — used by Google AdMob to show and measure the banner ads that support the free app.
• Push notification token — a device-specific token used to deliver reminders and occasional app updates.

An account is optional. Without one, drink logs and settings stay only on your device and are never sent to us.

• To sync your drink logs, goals, and settings across your devices.
• To let you sign in and recover your data if you change devices.
• To schedule and deliver hydration reminders.
• To show relevant, measured advertising through Google AdMob.

We do not sell your personal information.

Waterly shows banner and native ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising ID and device information to select and measure ads. Where required by law (for example, in the EEA and UK), you will be asked for consent before any personalized advertising is shown. You can review or change your ad privacy choices at any time from the app’s settings.

Account data and drink logs are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication), encrypted in transit. Firestore security rules restrict every account’s data to that account only.

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. You can delete individual drink logs at any time in the app. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below and we will remove it within 30 days.

Waterly is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
